Visit to Timu Police Station Construction Site The management team, led by Mr. Milton Lopiria, the Executive Director of Warrior Squad Foundation, paid a visit to the construction site of the Timu Police Station on Thursday, February 6th, 2025. 🏗️ The police station is being constructed in Timu Sub-County, Kaabong District. Timu Sub-County has long faced challenges of insecurity due to the absence of police presence, leading to skyrocketing domestic violence, theft, defilement, and other vices. Additionally, the IK community, a minority group, has only one police station located in Kamion Sub-County, which is not only far from Timu but also inaccessible due to the terrains and poor road network. Under the Building Resilience of the Conflict-Affected Communities of Karamoja (BRICK) project, supported by UNDP and KOICA, WSF is constructing a police station to curb crime and enhance safety. 👮‍♂️🚓
