🌟 Weekly Highlights from WSF 🌟 As we wrap up the week, we're excited to share some significant activities that took place: 🚜 Wednesday: Under the BRICK project, with support from UNDP and KOICA, we held a groundbreaking ceremony for a motorized water pump in Lokinenei Parish, Timu sub-county. The ceremony was attended by district officials, community leaders, and implementing partners. This pump will provide clean water for domestic use and irrigation, aiming to increase household food production and reduce food insecurity. 🤝 Thursday: We conducted a cross-border peace dialogue in Timu sub-county, bringing together political, cultural, and religious leaders, government officials, and implementing partners. The dialogue aimed to promote peaceful coexistence between the Turkana, Dodoth, and IK communities. Due to the dry season, the Turkana have moved to Uganda in search of pasture and water for their animals, necessitating peaceful coexistence. 🌱 FCRA Project: Our team trained the community on climate-smart agriculture in Kamion sub-county using the smart projector approach. The training included a practical session on mulching, a climate-smart farming practice, made possible with support from GIZ under the SCIIDA III project. Thank you for your continued support!
