ITHEMBELIHLE LSEN SCHOOL joined Nal'ibali in celebrating the magical World Read Aloud Day 2025! The school, which serves learners with special education needs, enjoyed the Nal'ibali WRAD 2025 story 'What is that?' in English, IsiZulu, and Sesotho with teachers and 87 pupils from Grade R to 7. The pupils took part in reading aloud, drawing, and colouring. "Every year, we celebrate World Read Aloud Day. This year, the learners were quite involved in the reading aloud session, and they enjoyed the story activities.They were eager to learn what a windmill is in other South African languages." Ms Nombuso Zondi, Literacy Coordinator and Speech Therapist at Ithembelihle LSEN School, stated that the story sparked the children's interest in learning various languages.
