Regular breast screening is one of the best ways to spot a cancer that is too small to feel or see yourself – it saves around 1,300 lives each year in the UK.
Our breast team are encouraging any women who have been invited for a breast screen to get booked in, as finding cancer earlier makes it more likely that treatment will be successful.
In fact, 8,500 people in Swindon last year were invited for a breast screen but didn't take up the appointment offer.
So when you're invited, save the date, it could save your life.💓
