We are delighted to run a new Metro train in customer service on the green line for the first time today. The new train, built by Stadler, carried customers across the River Wear for the very first time, running between South Hylton and Newcastle Airport. This marks another major milestone in the £362m project to roll out 46 new Metro trains over the next two years.
