Long live the undying spirit of Cde. Timson "TT" Musetsho and Cde. Ronald Baronza Mani, long live! The Vhembe District came together to honor and remember these fallen heroes during an ANNUAL memorial lecture. The event was graced by the Executive Mayor, Cllr Freda Nkondo, along with Members of the Mayoral Committee, the President of SAMWU Cde. Nelson Mokgoto together with his Deputy Secretary General and Provincial Leadership of SAMWU, the ANC Provincial Secretary Cde. Madadzhe Musanda, representatives from SANCO, SACP, COSATU, the VDM Pastors Forum, family members, and a large gathering/ entire membership of SAMWU members from the national, provincial, local, and regional levels. It has been six years since the passing away of these heroes, and Vhembe continues to celebrate their legacy every year. "Their deaths not only robbed their families but also the people of Vhembe, as they were brave leaders who always stood firm in the fight for workers' rights," said the Executive Mayor. "While we celebrate their well lived lives, we must also commend their courage and unwavering spirit in their pursuit of justice," she added. ANC Provincial Secretary Cde. Madadzhe Musanda also paid tribute to these fallen heroes. "Their passing away not only took from us loyal soldiers of the revolution but also a generation of leaders who carried the weight of the people's struggles," he said. They will never be forgotten—undying heroes who stood for what is right and fought against corruption at every turn. Their legacy endures.
