Karachi, February 11, 2025: The multinational exercise AMAN 2025, organized by the Pakistan Navy, concluded in the Northern Arabian Sea with a grand International Fleet Review.
Around 60 countries participated in AMAN 2025, contributing their naval warships, aircraft, marines, special operations forces, and a significant number of observers.
During the International Fleet Review, the Pakistan Navy and foreign naval warships showcased an impressive Peace Formation.
Chief of the Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir was the chief guest on this occasion.
This exercise, under the motto “United for Peace”, reflects Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to peace and security based on mutual cooperation.
Upon the arrival of the support vessel Moawin, Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf welcomed the chief guest.
The event was also attended by the Governor of Sindh, Chief Minister of Sindh, and the Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs.
Additionally, ambassadors, high commissioners, heads of foreign naval forces, senior military officers, defense and naval attachés from participating countries were present at the ceremony.
The chief guest observed various operational drills during the International Fleet Review.
A spectacular flypast was performed by aircraft from the Pakistan Navy, Pakistan Air Force, and participating foreign air forces.
Following the flypast, participating naval warships conducted the traditional Man and Cheer Ship demonstration.
The exercise concluded with the formation of a traditional Peace Formation, symbolizing collective commitment to maritime security.
The chief guest congratulated the Pakistan Navy on successfully hosting AMAN 2025 and appreciated Pakistan’s dedication to promoting peace.
He also thanked the regional and global naval forces for their commitment to maritime security cooperation.
Emphasizing the significance of the exercise, he stated that AMAN 2025 has emerged as a global platform uniting major naval powers under the shared vision of ‘Safe Seas, Prosperous Future’, as demonstrated by the strong participation of naval forces worldwide.
Additionally, the first-ever AMAN Dialogue, held alongside the exercise, provided a platform for naval leadership from around the world to engage in discussions on maritime challenges.
