The Green Agri Mall & Service Company, a pioneering initiative, aims to serve as a one-stop solution for farmers by providing high-quality seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and fuel at controlled rates, delivered to their doorsteps. Additionally, rental farming machinery and implements, including drones, will be made available at the lowest possible cost to further facilitate farmers.
The Smart Agri Farm, established on 5,000 acres, integrates modern agricultural techniques and a High-Efficiency Irrigation System to serve as a model for farmers striving to maximize crop yield at minimal costs. Meanwhile, the Agri Research and Facilitation Centre will offer comprehensive agricultural and technical support, including laboratory services. Its connectivity with research and academic institutions across the country will further enhance collaborative ventures.
While addressing dignitaries, farmers, stakeholders, and families of Shuhada, Ms. Maryam Nawaz Sharif praised the launch of the multifaceted Green Pakistan Initiative (GPI) projects and their transformative impact. She underscored that agriculture is the lifeline of Pakistan and distributed land allotment letters to the next of kin of Shuhada and war-wounded families. She also commended the Green Pakistan Initiative’s efforts in introducing contemporary best practices to Pakistan’s agriculture sector.
General Syed Asim Munir recognized Punjab’s leadership in establishing itself as the powerhouse of Pakistan’s agricultural sector.
