For the first time in the history of Gilgit-Baltistan, the ISPR Internship Program was organized to educate and train the youth.
Around 250 students from various colleges in Gilgit-Baltistan, as well as Karakoram and Baltistan University, participated in this program. Spanning six weeks, the program provided students with in-depth knowledge on diverse topics.
While sharing their thoughts, participating students emphasized the growing importance of such programs in today’s era. They noted that some external forces have attempted to create an artificial divide between the Pakistan Army and the public—especially the youth—through social media. However, this internship allowed them to directly interact with military leadership, hear about their experiences, and dispel any concerns they previously had.
