Frontier Corps Khyber Pakhtunkhwa North successfully organized a three-day Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) Under-16 Football Tournament at Cadet College Warsak, aiming to promote young football talent across the province.
The tournament featured teams from Peshawar, Malakand, Mardan, Kohat, Bannu, and Dera Ismail Khan, providing a platform for aspiring footballers to showcase their skills.
In a thrilling final match, Peshawar emerged victorious, defeating Malakand to claim the championship title.
The Inspector General Frontier Corps North, Major General Anjum Riaz, graced the occasion as the chief guest and distributed awards and trophies among the outstanding players and teams.
A large number of young football enthusiasts attended the event, expressing their appreciation for the initiative. Many voiced their hope that similar tournaments would continue to be organized, enabling young players to develop their skills and represent Pakistan at the national and international levels.
