With over 30,000 surviving liberation fighters, the allocation of at least US$150,000 to each of the country's 10 Provinces is a step in the right direction. While the amount may seem modest, it is a tangible commitment from HE President Dr ED Mnangagwa to improve the lives of those who fought for our Liberation. The essence of this initiative lies in its innovative approach. The Fund operates on a revolving loan model, providing interest-free loans to beneficiaries. This mechanism ensures immediate assistance and promotes sustainability, allowing the Fund to support future generations of War Veterans.
