*PHANEROO~DEVOTION* Sunday, 23rd February 2025 Apostle Grace Lubega *Exodus 33:14 (KJV)*: "And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest." *RESTED IN HIS PRESENCE* Child of God, are you feeling anxious about a particular situation? Are you struggling with restlessness due to a circumstance in your life? The Bible, through our theme scripture, provides an antidote. When the Lord told Moses that His presence would go with him and He would give him rest, it reveals a powerful truth: the presence of God nurtures rest. If you desire to walk in continual rest in your spirit, learn to practice the presence of God. In His presence, anxieties fade away and become strangely dim. What once seemed impossible becomes possible because God ministers to you and strengthens your spirit. This is why, for many people, when they attend a church service feeling burdened and heavy-laden, it’s only a matter of time before they experience a shift. Whether it’s during prayer, worship, or listening to the Word, the burdens are lifted, and peace fills their souls. That’s what the presence of God does. You don’t need to announce your problems to everyone who will listen. You simply need the presence of God. Sometimes, you don’t even need to say much while in His presence—just be silent before Him, and He will give you rest. Most importantly, don’t let this be an occasional experience. Develop the habit of dwelling in His presence. When challenges arise, they will find you anchored in peace, unable to destabilize you.
