Today, 19 February 2025, Deputy Mayor Cllr Karen Walker and Speaker Cllr Bheki Nozaza joined the Netball Outreach Program at Bhongweni Youth Centre, Ward 5, alongside Netball South Africa, KZN Department of Sport, Arts & Culture, and Harry Gwala Netball Federation. A special moment was the attendance of Mbali Diphoko, U21 SA netball player from Kokstad, who inspired young athletes and donated netball equipment to local schools.
