To be diligent means to be careful, hardworking, and always do things right the first time. A diligent person always puts his best in whatever he’s told to do. So, as God’s child, you must be diligent. Let’s look at the story of David in the Bible. He was a man of diligence. He was diligent and faithful while taking care of his father’s sheep. In doing so, he got the training he needed to defeat Goliath. When you’re diligent, God promotes you and brings you into a place of honor. So, learn to practice diligence in your home, school, prayer life, and fellowship with the Lord.
