*HOW DO REVOLUTIONARIES THINK?*
_For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7 AMPC)_
Beautiful evening dear friend.
Still on the matter of how revolutionaries think, I believe there is something for us to consider in terms of our curiosity. I have found that people who make significant changes in their world tend to have that childlike sense of curiosity. They don't just take things at face value. They ask questions and challenge what everyone else might think is normal. As they interact with their environment, they are careful to not take anything for granted. They are sensitive to opportunities for impact around them and it helps them identify ungoverned spaces where they can deploy their potentials and be successful.
You may have heard the proverb _"curiosity kills the cat."_ I know people often use that proverb to discourage unnecessary investigation and pokenosing. However, I am convinced that there is a level of curiosity that we need to be effective in the pursuit of God's purpose for our lives. Perhaps there is a line to be drawn between being unnecessarily interested in matters that don't concern us but when it comes to the matters that do concern us, I believe it is important that we have the boldness and courage to ask questions. Today, I just want to challenge you to actively seek to develop your curiosity about the area of your calling. Don't walk away from the burning bush without turning aside and asking why the fire is not burning the bush. Turn aside. Ask questions. Grow in knowledge.
*Pray by faith with me thus:* "Lord, thank you for giving me a powerful mind to interact with the world you have created. Help me to explore my potential to the fullest so that I can make an impact with the little time I have got on this side of eternity." Amen.
*Keypoint:* There is a level of curiosity that we need to be effective in the pursuit of God's purpose for our lives and God has given us our minds so that we can make sense of the things happening in our environment as we engage with curiosity.
