*YOU ARE WHO GOD SAYS YOU ARE II.* _But now, O Jacob, listen to the LORD who created you. O Israel, the one who formed you says, “Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine (Isaiah 43:1 NLT)._ Beautiful evening dear friend. Happy Sunday. When we say that we are who God says we are, what we say is true. However, I believe that in order to become who God says we are, we must first deeply believe in the reality of our identity in God. Declaring that we are who God says we are is a good place to start but we must take it a step further to seek to know who God says we are and to deeply believe in the truth of what God says about us. Think about Gideon for example, God called him a mighty man of valor. That was who God said he was. However, Gideon did not actually become a mighty man of valor until he agreed to what God said and acted on the basis of that understanding. So, as we go about the discovery and pursuit of God's purpose for our lives, it is important that we come into that place of deep conviction about who God says we are. The Bible tells us that they that know their God will be strong and do exploits. I understand that the kind of knowledge referred to there is the kind of intimate knowledge which a man shares with his wife. We must know who God says we are and be fully assured of the truth of our identity. Our hearts should be established in the truth of our identity in God so that our lives in time is a full manifestation of God's predetermined plans in all eternity. It is when this happens that we will no longer be tossed to and from by waves and winds of falsehood. Assured of God's truth about who we are, we will be able to face any challenge and conquer any battle that comes our way in the pursuit of God's purpose for our lives. *Pray by faith with me thus:* "Lord, open my eyes to see who I am in You and to walk in the fullness of this knowledge all the days of my life." Amen. *Keypoint:* Knowing who God says you are (being fully convinced of the truth of your identity in Christ) is critical to fulfilling God's purpose for your life. _______________ #justpurposedaily ©AimPurpose IfeOluwa 🗓 February 16, 2025 https://bit.ly/hi-aimpurpose
