*PASS IT ON.* _Whenever we have trouble, he comforts us. Because of that, we ourselves can comfort other people. When they have any kind of trouble, we can comfort them, in the same way that God has comforted us (2 Corinthians 1:4 EASY)._ Beautiful evening dear friend. Happy Sunday! Has someone ever asked you for directions and you were able to point them in the direction they needed to go? Someone approached me on my way to church this morning and asked for direction to a train station. That station is not usually my route but I was able to direct the person because I had "gotten lost" one time and found myself at that station. So, in that moment, I was able to help that person because of an experience which was not particularly pleasant at the time but which contributed to my knowledge of the city I live in. As I think about this, what comes to my mind is Paul's statement to the Corinthians in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 NIV when he said, _"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God."_ In essence, Paul was saying that God gives us comfort so that we too can provide comfort to others with the comfort we have received from God. So, even though we did not like what we passed through, we know that that experience will be useful for the fulfillment of God's purposes through our lives. The important point is that we recognize that there are people to whom our troubles and the comfort God gives us will bring solution to. God's dealings with us are not usually independent of His purpose for our lives. I believe this is God's instruction to someone reading this: It is time for you to become a channel. You have received comfort from God. If is time for you to pass it on. And don't say there is nobody around you that can be comforted from your comfort. Ask the Lord to open your eyes and you will see that there are people behind and beside who need the comfort you carry. If you don't look beyond yourself, you are not likely to find them. *Pray by faith with me thus:* "Lord, help me to recognize purpose in Your dealings with me and to look beyond myself to see the people whose comfort you entrusted to me." Amen. *Keypoint:* God blesses us so that we can pass the blessing on. _______________ #justpurposedaily ©AimPurpose IfeOluwa 🗓 February 23, 2025 https://bit.ly/hi-aimpurpose
