Peace in the Midst of Chaos "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not be afraid." — John 14:27 [KJV] Peace is a choice. When you read Psalm 34:14, it says, "Seek peace and pursue it." There are many things in this world that can take away your peace—if you allow them to. Jesus said, "Do not let your hearts be troubled." So, you can choose to be offended or choose peace. It is within your power to be at peace or to be anxious. People are restless in this chaotic world. But Jesus has bestowed upon us a peculiar peace—a peace that is not derived from the world, nor from the things of this world. It is a peace that remains, no matter the circumstances. Choose it and pursue it.
