The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of water supply infrastructure design, the ability to prepare comprehensive Detailed Project Reports (DPRs), and proficiency in using hydraulic modeling and analysis software such as WaterGEMS. As a key member of our team, the Water Supply Expert will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from design to execution, ensuring that water supply systems are optimized, efficient, and compliant with all regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities: Design Water Supply Systems: Lead the design and engineering of water supply systems, including pipelines, water treatment plants, storage tanks, and pumping stations, ensuring high standards of efficiency and sustainability. Prepare Detailed Project Reports (DPRs): Develop comprehensive DPRs that include feasibility studies, system design, cost estimation, implementation schedules, and risk assessments. Hydraulic Modeling and Analysis: Utilize WaterGEMS to model water distribution networks, perform system analysis, and optimize the performance and efficiency of water supply systems. Project Management: Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of water supply projects, ensuring that all phases meet timelines, budgetary constraints, and quality standards. Technical Consulting and Support: Provide technical advice and guidance to project teams, clients, and stakeholders, offering innovative solutions to complex water supply issues. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that designs comply with local, national, and international water quality standards and environmental regulations. System Optimization: Analyze water distribution systems, identify opportunities for optimization, and implement improvements to reduce water loss and improve system reliability. Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution and alignment with project goals. Required Qualifications and Skills: Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
