What is Valentine’s Day?
Not an Islamic tradition. Valentine’s Day on Feb 14 comes from a mix of Roman festival Lupercalia and Christian legends about St. Valentine, who married couples in secret and allegedly wrote a note to a jailer’s daughter. It became linked to love by the 14th century.
