𝗩𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀, 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲𝘀 Drakenstein Municipality wants to remind our residents and visitors that the use of quad bikes and other vehicles is prohibited in our public amenities and nature reserves. This is to ensure the safety of human beings and animals and the preservation of our precious fauna and flora. Only emergency and security vehicles are allowed in these areas in accordance with the directives of the Municipality. The following provision under section 13 (1) of Bylaw No. 8/2007: Public amenities states: No person may bring into a public amenity any truck, bus, motorcar, motorcycle, motor tricycle, bicycle or any other vehicle, craft, or aeroplane, whether driven by mechanical, animal, natural or human power, except in accordance with the directives of the Municipality.
