On February 17, 2025, Delta Air Lines Flight 4819, operated by Endeavor Air, experienced a severe accident upon landing at Toronto Pearson International Airport. The Bombardier CRJ-900 aircraft, originating from Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport, carried 80 individuals—76 passengers and four crew members. At approximately 2:45 p.m. local time, during the landing process, the plane overturned on the runway. Remarkably, there were no fatalities; however, 15 passengers sustained injuries, with three reported in critical condition, including a child. Emergency response teams promptly evacuated all occupants and transported the injured to nearby hospitals. The Transportation Safety Board of Canada has initiated an investigation to determine the cause of the incident. Preliminary reports suggest that recent heavy snowfall and icy runway conditions may have contributed to the accident. In response, Toronto Pearson International Airport temporarily suspended all arrivals and departures, leading to several flight diversions. Delta Air Lines has expressed its commitment to assisting those affected and is fully cooperating with the ongoing investigation. #flywithfavour Reports
