The Express Entry draw today, the first non-PNP or CEC draw of 2025, was a massive French language proficiency draw inviting 6,500 people to apply. As you can see below, Express Entry continues to be terribly difficult otherwise as this is the first draw of 2025 that had a score requirement below 500 (quite a hard score to get for most). Still doesn't make a ton of sense to me why this is the priority for PRs outside of Quebec, but hey, not much has made sense in a while either. Are you surprised by the draws so far in 2025? Seems to be a lot of the same from the last quarter of 2024.
