*War Clouds gathering Over O&G Markets* Friends, I have always maintained that oil and gas (O&G) markets are not for everyone. You need Os-Int (open source intelligence) and Hum-Int (human intelligence) capabilities to trade these markets. The latter is an art form, function of networking with fellow veteran traders and boots on the ground in the delivery cargo market place. As geo-political factors (read US policy on O&G) raise volatility levels, the smoke and dust levels too have risen. Visibility is impaired for most traders. Barring those with Os-Int and Hum-Int assets that is. I have written a lot about ghost shipping and shadow inventory markets that keep the wheels turning of the O&G export markets *These shadow markets are now witnessing frenzied activity since the last 5 days. If you keep your finger on the pulse of the cargo markets of Europe and Asia (official and shadow markets) you know what I mean.* In the O&G markets WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) is a myth. Real world traders treat figures available in the public domain with disdain. The coming weeks will see the price action in O&G markets validate that standpoint. We've seen the supercycle echo chambers advocate US$ 200 - 350/bbl for oil since 2021. Or natural gas at US$ 10/mmbtu. We know how *THAT* went down. There's a new show in town.
