At that point, it's obvious they are not friends. This is where I bring in the scripture. Matthew 7:21 Jesus says , "Not everyone who says to me , 'Lord, Lord' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in Heaven." The two verses that follow get more specific on what will happen to those. This shows us that more than calling ourselves Christian we must overcome the state of hypocrisy and wholly avoid the state of being Lukewarm. It's because we are Christians I am relating hypocrisy to being Lukewarm as it's convincing your mind you are okay with having to follow God and the devil which is wrong.Jesus in Matthew 23 condemns the Pharisees for being hypocrites seeing themselves as the preservers of the law and shun or close the door to those who were trying to seek God and heaven. It is really worrying how among us we have seen Pharisees or have been Pharisees.
