*Ephesus: The Church that Lost Its First Love*
*Location* : Ephesus was a major port city and the capital of the Roman province of Asia. Known for the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
*History:* Ephesus was a bustling, wealthy city with a large, pagan population. It had a vibrant Christian community that had been founded by Paul, who later sent Timothy as its pastor (1 Timothy 1:3).
Strengths: Hard work, perseverance, intolerance of evil, sound doctrine.
Weakness: Forsaking its "first love" (Revelation 2:4).
Message: Christ calls the church to remember its initial zeal for Him and to return to a passionate, first-love relationship.
