*Roadmap to Leadership: FUOYE Alumni National Election Timetable Unveiled* The Electoral Committee for the 2025 FUOYE Alumni National Election, chaired by Ajayi Busuyi, has released the proposed timetable for the upcoming election. According to Busuyi, the nomination form for FUOYE Alumni National Association positions is now on sale and has been receiving enthusiastic response from interested candidates. "We are pleased to see that people are already obtaining the forms, and we encourage all eligible candidates to participate in the electoral process," said Chairman Ajayi Busuyi. The Committee has outlined the following key dates: - Nomination Period: October 1, 2024 to February 28, 2025 - Screening of Candidates: March 1, to April 30, 2025 - Campaign Period: May 1, 2025, to August 31, 2025 - Election Date: September 17, 2025 - Orientation and Leadership Training: October -November 2025 - Inauguration/Swearing-in: After the Leadership Training Notably, the Committee has given ample time for the campaign period, aiming to provide enough time for candidates to reach out to alumni across the country and abroad. "We want to ensure that all candidates have sufficient time to connect with our alumni and showcase their vision for the association," explained Chairman Ajayi Busuyi. The Electoral Committee will have regular interactive sessions with the University Management through the Director of Advancement, Professor Olubukola Oyawoye, to ensure proper briefing and updates.
