Lamu Governor HE Issa Timamy EGH, OGW and UDA Deputy Party signed a contract for the Mini-Grid Project under the World Bank, marking a significant milestone in enhancing access to reliable and sustainable electricity for Lamu people. According to the Governor, this transformative initiative will greatly improve livelihoods, boost economic activities, and enhance service delivery in underserved areas which include Kiunga ward—Ndau, Mkokoni, and Kiwayuu.
