As per Sections 33 & 34 of the ​B​WSSB and Drainage Act, 1964, the use of drinking water for the following is strictly prohibited in ​B​engaluru: * Cleaning vehicles * Gardening * Building construction * Fountains & entertainment * Non-drinking purposes in cinemas & properties * Road construction & cleaning Violators will be fined ₹5,000 under Section 109 of the Act, with an additional ₹500/day for repeated offenses.
