Blessed Saturday! 🥳 When Singaporean men enlist for National Service, they receive multiple sets of uniform and boots. While most of them are used for everyday tasks and training, recruits are instructed to set aside one set considered their “smartest” - the pristine one reserved for parades, free of mud and scuff marks, polished and washed to the highest standard. Just as we set things apart for special purposes, God sets us apart for special purposes. No single Christian is called to do everything, but each of us is uniquely gifted to do something. As we prepare to receive God’s vision for our church, we want to embrace our unique strengths and limitations and so be most faithful to what God has in store for us.
