*Future Empires*🏰 *Chapter Fourteen* 'The Civil War Part VII' Finale Kitanna removed all her possessions and her weapons and handed them over to Eve .She clasped her necklace then she froze a bit.She decided not to remove it.She was left with her white vets and her black comouflage tights. "Be careful bossie,you might have the upper hand but she has some dirty tricks in her sleeves,keep your eyes wide open",Eve said while helping her removing her weapons. "Well my eyes are damn wide open and I don't give shit if she has a dragon,I'm going to slay that persistent insolence prostitute",Kitanna replied. "That's it love,behead that impudent bastard",Eve said. "Lara what are you thinking,I do....have faith in you but,this is a huge risk,its Shark Steel,remember.She's like the daughter of Zeus.She's a deadly serpent,she'll destroy you",Linna said removing her gear then Lara stuffed her blade into Linna's side leg pocket."One on one to the death with no weapons?What makes you so sure that you'll win?" "Linna....there were two kids and both of them went to play.They came back and the other one bathed and he was clean but the other one was dirty he didn't bath.The clean boy now received his meal with meat in it but the dirty one received his with only vegetables. Of course he wanted the meat but he didn't recklessly say it or frustrate about it.He claimed that he wanted to use the bathroom.Then he sneaked into the kitchen and took his share of meat in the pot and ate it in the bathroom.He returned back and continued his meal.",Lara explained. "I....don't understand your parable but...just don't get hasty,just be careful alright,..I'm not ready to lose another person",Linna said. "Don't worry sweety,...as I said before,its time for the bear to hibernate",Lara said as she entered their duel ground.She was left with a long sleeve black leather suit.All the soldiers formed a cirlce around the both of them. "Ooouu Sharkie,you sure are a fine woman",Lara said gazing on her. "And you sure are naive requesting this duel",Kitanna replied. "We'll see about that,but in the mean time",she tossed dust to Kitanna's face and reached with a punch then another one and she punched her in the stomach and began to hit her torso with her knees one after another.Kitanna pulled both of her legs as she slammed on the ground with her back.Lara attempted for a tackle then Kitanna jumped with a quick front flip then she swang her foot and hit Lara on her nose.Lara hooked Kitanna's legs with her's and she fell with her front then Lara rushed on top of her and snapped Kitanna's neck.She tensed a bit but it was effective.Lara quickly stood up with a sinister smile on her face. "Careful there Sharkie",she said while Kitanna was rubbing her neck. "I must admit,that was close",Kitanna said. "Next time it will be much closer" "There won't be a next time" "Keep telling yourself that!!",Lara made a quick launch with a kick and Kitanna quickly shifted and dodged her then she kicked Lara on her ribs as she groaned a bit then she hit Kitanna's stomach with a front kick,she pulled her leg and Lara fell with her back.She tackled Kitanna again but this time she took advantage and fell on her with an elbow against her chest as she coughed blood a bit.Kitanna sat on her and began to punch her over and over again. "Had enough?!!",Kitanna asked. "Not yet!!",Lara pushed her away and Kitanna stood up. "Come on,show me what you got!!",Kitanna yelled.Lara stood her stance with her arms raised with her fists up as Kitanna with her own stance.Lara threw an across punch and Kitanna blocked it then Lara kicked her thigh as Kitanna stumbled a bit with a hand on her thigh.Lara saw an opening and kicked her on her cheek then she hit her again with a drop kick on her chest. Kitanna took a couple of steps back as Lara rushed to her being so certain that she was out of it.Lara grabbed Kitanna's neck firmly and pulled her toward her then Kitanna reacted and grabbed her arm then she pulled her as she hit Lara on the cheek with an elbow.Kitanna shifted quickly to Lara's side and hit her on her ribs with a kick.Lara groaned loudly and attempted to grab her but she shifted again to her other side and stepped on Lara's side knee. Kitanna was like a superhuman with enhanced speed.Lara cried a bit.A pop sound was produced during the impact. "Wh-what,that's.....how is she this super fast?".one of the vice asked.Lara rotated and lifted her other leg for a round kick and Kitanna ducked then she jumped and hit Lara's cheek with a round kick in the air.Lara felt dizzy for a short time then Kitanna launched herself and jumped onto her,sat on her shoulers,locked Lara's head between her thighs as she leaned back down pulling her head with her thighs and Lara slammed on the ground. Lara was panting hard,she pulled her leg and Kitanna fell on her back.Lara rushed desperately for Kitanna's neck then she trapped her with a triangle pin.Lara struggled to break out but Kitanna was too strong.Lara's face began to turn red.She was fading away. She then lifted her up aiming to slam her down the ground and Kitanna aware of this she released her legs then she stood and hit Lara with a strong uppercut.Lara felt her diziness taking over and there was a ringing sound in her head.Lara helplessly swang a punch then Kitanna dodged and hugged Lara from behind.She pulled her and hit her with German suplex. She struggled to stand while gasping for air.Kitanna wrapped her arms around Lara's waist,she pulled and hit her again with another suplex as she slammed on the ground with back neck.Kitanna grabbed Lara's neck and lifted her up with her hand all the way up. "You repulse me",Kitanna said and she slammed her down the ground.Lara coughed a bit with blood while grabbing tight on Kitanna's arm due to the agonizing pain.Kitanna lifted her once more and slammed her again.Alicia stared at Linna and she did the same and they locked their eyes.Alicia saw rage in Linna's eyes. "Oh,Linnara,what have you become?",Alicia wondered in her thoughts. "Damnit she's too strong",one of the vices said,"she's definitely inhuman". She lifted her again and made her stand then she hit her quick with a couple of punches to Lara's face.She was like a super robotic machine then she spinned three times in the air must fast like a drill machine and hit her massively with a kick on her cheek as blood escaped her mouth and fell in front of Linna.The rovers and the elites were yelling and rooting for Shark Steel. "Lara",Linna whispered with concern as Lara looked up to her and smiled a bit.Linna smiled back a bit.Lara clasped Linna's leg then she stood up and walked back to the duel,she was unbalanced due to her dislocated knee. "Wait",Linna said to herself ,she checked her leg then she saw that the blade which Lara put at first was gone.She realized that Lara had took the blade.She hid it in her sleeve as she was getting back to the battle. "This is pointless,just yield before I break you into two",Kitanna said. "N-not,...yet",Lara said breathing a little heavy then Kitanna quickly punched her and hit her stomach with a front kick but Lara tried with all her might to ignore the pain then she rushed behind Kitanna and pinned her from behind. "Do you actually think th-",Kitanna felt a painful sting behind her back.Lara had stabbed her with her blade. "Noo!!",Jessie yelled. "Wh-what the,she broke the rules!!",Alicia yelled. "Says who?",Lara asked as she smiled,she stabbed her again. "Damn you!!",Eve attempted to intervene but they were out numbered. "Oouu,Sharkie Sharkie,I got you now",Lara said in her ear. "You freaking b***ch!!",Eve yelled.Her tears fell down her cheeks.Lara stabbed her again. "Damn you!!",Ciara and the rest became raged. "Noo!!Stop it!!",Eve yelled,her cheeks wet soaked with her tears. "Ughh,look who's...crying n-now",Kitanna said to Eve with a smile. "Kitanna",Eve said with a low voice.Lara raised her blade to finish her off then a golden arrow stabbed her at the side of her stomach as she groaned. "Sorry for the wait",Stacy appeared as her army neutralized most of the opposition.Then she hit the detonater which was in Linna's hand with an arrow and it was destroyed. "You!!",Linna said with rage.Lara dragged Kitanna and pushed her over the cliff into the lake and the strong waters washed her away.The vices and the pirates fought back for the rovers and the elites not to rescue Kitanna.Linna rushed to Lara and evaded with their army.By the time they attempted to search for Kitanna she had completely vanished. "This victory might be yours for today,...but we'll meet again in the Great War",Victor yelled while evading. "Where were you?!!",Eve yelled to Stacy. "I apologize but we had MG's blocking our way but we managed to push through",Stacy said. "Is the general....really dead?",Hailen asked with concern. "We don't know for now,there's no need to jump to conclusions",Jessie replied. "All units head back to the empire",Eve replied and some of them freed the ones who were in the cages.They headed back to the empire.It did not feel like a victory but despair instead.They headed in and the first thing they saw in the hallway was blood all over with dead corpses and their limbs.They entered the emperor's room and they saw Gerald laying there with his heart ripped out. "Oh no",Samantha covered her mouth with her tears wanting to come out.Eve kneeled down by his corpse.She punched down with frustration. "Damnit!!",she yelled.Sileena rushed to the nurse room.She opened the doors wide.She saw blood everywhere.Her heart beated once with a hard knock.Her eyes wide open with her tears flowing down. "Steven?",she said with a low voice,her hands were shaking a bit,she walked back into the hallway holding the walls for support.She felt like she was going to fall.A store room door opened in front while she was walking and Steven came out of it with a long white medical coat. "Uh Gosh,Steven!!",she rushed to him and embraced him with a hug as he groaned. "Ooohh,sorryy,....help!!",Sileena yelled,he seemed not fully recovered.His wound was still bleeding. "Thank God you're okay what happened here?",she asked. "Its-Griffin,...he's alive he's...uhh,...he's now a freaking cyborg,..he massacred everyone but I hid in this random store room.But the people are alright.",Steven explained and the others rushed to collect him."And Sileena,...I'm so glad you survived",he said,they took him and headed to the other room for recovery.Eve stood up with Gerald's coat. "Inform everyone to head to the hall,we need to make an announcement",Eve said. "About what?",Ciara asked. "About who's going to be the next emperor",Eve replied.Every single person headed to the hall and Eve and the others arrived there.She walked along to the stage. "This day is the day of the end of the civil war.As you can see,some of us managed to survive and that is good enough for the empire.Our neutral alliance with the flute empire is now vanished",Eve explained as the people murmured. "But our alliance with the elite empire still stands.We collaborated together in the civil war and because of their support,we managed to grab victory......although it really doesn't feel like one because um,...we um-",the entrance door opened as Stacy walked in with her squad behind her,they were carrying a body covered with a black cloth.The people made way while she was walking. "Red Flower",she said. "Golden Spear",Eve replied. "My squad members found this body in the lake of Surdan....and I thought you should see it",Stacy said.Eve walked down the stairs,she walked toward the body and uncovered it as the people rose with shock. "Noo",Jessie said with a low voice. "Shark Steel",Eve said with a low voice.Her tears fell a bit.The face was damaged like it was hit by a stone."nooo,Shark Steel is dead?",the people whispered,"this is....really bad",the people said,"mommy what happened to Shark Steel,mommyy mommyy",a girl yelled a bit with her tears falling as her mother hugged her.The rovers removed the body from the hall. "I'm....sorry....about your general,..I can't lie,I too am an admirer,I've been dreaming of having a friendly match with her",Stacy said. "Thank you",Eve replied as Stacy nodded a bit.She and her squad departed back.The people were filled with hopeless and despair,they were murmuring. "Silence!!",Eve yelled and the people went quiet.Her tears didn't stop falling.Her hands were shaking,she was facing down.She dried her tears,"we now know that the emperor and.....the general are....dead.I know some of you might be wondering about what's next.We are going to announce a new emperor of the rover empire.Every single one of you is going to vote for which person should rule the empire.You shall find a paper and write a name on it.A box will be provided for you to place the papers in there.The voting will be twenty minutes.Five minutes of writing the name and fifteen minutes of placing the papers.Once done,you return to your current position",Eve explained.Two random soldiers came in carrying a metal box and placed it down. "You!!Come forth",Eve called out a regular woman.She walked to the stage. "What is your name?",Eve asked. "Terissa my lord",she said as she bowed. "Wh-you-why are you calling me that?I'm not the empress",Eve said. "I'm aware,I just have much respect for you just like I have for Shark Steel even if she's dead",she said.Eve was extremely shocked. "Oh....um,thank you",Eve said with a small smile and Terissa looked up to her and smiled back. "Ehm,alright,once the votes are completely admitted,Terissa here is going to call out the votes.You don't have to worry about putting them according to the owner,my soldiers will handle that....alright everyone let's start",Eve said.Everyone scattered all over discussing about their votes and writing them down.Five minutes passed. "Alright,five minutes have passed,its now time to place your votes",Eve ordered,everyone and every rover squads and also the soldiers walked in a line throwing their votes in the metal box while two random soldiers were rearranging the votes according to their owners, they also voted too.Fifteen minutes passed,everyone went back to their current positions. "Now,..Terissa is now going to announce the votes,...the person who wins the votes will be respected and be called the emperor or the empress",Eve said.Terissa recieved the votes. "Alicia code name - Purple Dust 226 votes",Terissa announced,"yeah!!Purple Dust!!",some of the people yelled. "Dalvin code name - Small Giant 223 votes",the people applauded. "Samantha code name - Red Moon 384 votes",the people applauded. "Gordon code name - Cold Hammer 256 votes",the people applauded. "Jack code name - Cranium 227 votes". "Collins code name - Dark Star 103 votes",the people applauded."What?!What the,a few voted for me and yet I'm charming",Collins said,"yes you are",Jack tapped on his shoulder as he scoffed. "Ciara code name - Blue Wind 225 votes",the people applauded and yelled her name."You know I'm quite jealous that the people actually like you more than me",Ciara said,"it's all about beauty sweetheart,you should come through and I'll teach you the ways of it",Alicia said as Ciara laughed a bit and scoffed. "Eve code name - Red Flower 650 votes",Terissa announced and the people murmured more.Eve was extremely shocked,she didn't expect that a lot of them would vote for her. "Hailen code name - Dark Spear 217 votes",the people applauded,"wh-what,some actually voted for me?Mmm not bad,for a startup",she said. "Sileena code name - Fire Fox 222 votes",the people applauded,"damn some people actually like me",Sileena said. "Criffer code name - Black Claw 278 votes",the people applauded. "Jessie code name - Hell Hound 650 votes",she announced,the people were shocked,"its a tie?!Its a tie",they whispered.Jessie was painted with complete shock. "Jessie come forth!!",Eve said as Jessie did. "Come up here",Eve said,he came up to her. "Its a tie",Eve said. "Yeah,its....unexpected",he replied. "You know there are 3661 people including the random soldiers and rovers in total.The people and some soldiers and rovers voted for the twelve of us.Which means ten of us didn't vote for the both of us.",Eve said. "That makes kind of sense",Jessie said. "Not yet,....Jessie?" "Yes?" "Who did you vote for?",she asked. "Um....I voted for you",he replied. "Ohh,now the pieces are coming together now,because I voted for you too",Eve said. "Wh-really?" "Yeah,....you should lead,you should be next emperor",Eve said. "Wait what?What about you?" "C'mon,you all already know that once I get that power it will totally consume me,I'll lose it" "But,I-I don't even know how to rule,...actually I don't think I should be the one,honestly",Jessie said. "Mmm,I can rule but I'll lose control of the power and I'll propably go insane and begin to crave for more power and you are saying that you don't have it in you for that position.....so let's rule this empire together",Eve suggested. "Wh-what,is that even possible" "I say it is,...I'll be handling matters inside the empire and training the rovers and you'll be handling matters of negotiations,alliances and meetings,can you do that?",Eve asked. "That I can do and also,I want to take over the position of Shark Steel,I want to be general and do everything that she did",Jessie suggested. "Wait.....Terissa hasn't voted yet.....Terissa!!What do you think?Who do you think should lead?",Eve asked. "I-I uh-um,I think...both of you,...should rule",Terissa mummed a bit. "Then its settled then,we will both rule.Jessie will take over the general position and I will be empress Red Flower,you could also address Jessie as your emperor also.He will be my other half and I will be his other half,so respect him as you will be respecting me",Eve explained. "Woah,we'll be good as safe if we have those two ruling us",the people whispered. "And another thing,Alicia code name - Purple Dust ,Ciara code name - Blue Wind,Dalvin code name - Small Giant,Sileena code name - Fire Fox,Hailen - Dark Spear,Steven code name - Black Wolf and Jack code name - Cranium I here by now promote you to a rover position",Eve announced. "About time",Alicia said. "Finally",Ciara replied. "So let's continue growing this empire,for Gerald and for Shark Steel!!",Eve raised her fist as all of them raised theirs.
