Okay, I completed Paul's Letter to the Thessalonians today. And this time, I'm more focused on the bigger picture. Why was Paul writing to them? And for what purpose? What can I learn from the context of the letter and how it was written? Reading *Chapter 1 through 3*, We see Paul thanking the Thessalonians for their Faith. Okay why? Going back to Acts 17, the time Paul preached to the Thessalonians. Paul didn't have the opportunity to spend more than a Month (3 Sabbath's was what was recorded) with them before he was chased out. Paul in 2:17-20, 3:1-8 expressed how much he longed to see them, to make sure they were still strong in the Faith despite the persecution from around and temptations from the ungodly nation. And Timothy Brought Good news, that they were still strong and Faithful to God. (3:6-8, chap 1-2).
