Only at the time when we need help? This statement may surprise you, but Scripture teaches us that the time to seek His help is when we apparently do not need any help. _I invite you to dive into this question together to understand what His help refers to and to really find help at the right time. You can find the full thought at the link above, under the title of this thought._ --- Psalms (32:6) Therefore let everyone who is godly offer prayer to you at a time when you may be found; surely in the rush of great waters, they shall not reach him. Psalms (69:10) When I wept and humbled my soul with fasting, it became my reproach. (69:11) When I made sackcloth my clothing, I became a byword to them. (69:12) I am the talk of those who sit in the gate, and the drunkards make songs about me. (69:13) But as for me, my prayer is to you, O LORD. At an acceptable time, O God, in the abundance of your steadfast love answer me in your saving faithfulness. Isaiah (55:6) "Seek the LORD while he may be found; call upon him while he is near; (55:7) let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the LORD, that he may have compassion on him, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. (55:8) For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the LORD. (55:9) For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. (55:10) "For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return there but water the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater, (55:11) so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it."
