We are all sinning – what is the difference? _*Note: This is only an excerpt of a thought. The complete thought can be found here: https://qr.ae/pYDVVh (Quora).*_ Romans (7:19) For I do not do the good I want, but the evil I do not want is what I keep on doing. (7:20) Now if I do what I do not want, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells within me. --- Yes, we are all sinners. But some love sin and drink it like water, while for others sin itself has become "sinful beyond measure" in their lives (Romans 7:13). Some follow the desires of their earthly nature, while others embrace the will of the Heavenly Father as their daily bread. _Where are you? And what happens with those who no longer want to live in their sins and humble themselves before God through genuine repentance and surrender? When does sin become exceedingly sinful beyond measure? I invite you to reflect on these questions together. You can find the link under the title of this message._ --- Romans (6:19) I am speaking in human terms, because of your natural limitations. For just as you once presented your members as slaves to impurity and to lawlessness leading to more lawlessness, so now present your members as slaves to righteousness leading to sanctification. (6:20) When you were slaves of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness. (6:21) But what fruit were you getting at that time from the things of which you are now ashamed? The end of those things is death. (6:22) But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the fruit you get leads to sanctification and its end, eternal life. (6:23) For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
