*Volley Ball Tournament Concludes in Srinagar* *Maloora Spikers lifts Trophy* February 25: The Volley Ball Tournament organised by Police in Srinagar under the banner of ‘Nasha Mukt Abhiya Civic Action Programme’, concluded successfully today at Police Public Higher Secondary School Bemina, Srinagar. The volley ball tournament was organised by the police team of West Zone District Srinagar consisting of SP City West Srinagar Imtiyaz Ahmad-JKPS, SDPO West Bemina Majid Mehboob-JKPS and all SHOs and I/C PPs of West Zone Srinagar. Around 100 participants participated in the said volley ball tournament. In the final match of the tournament, Maloora Spikers emerged as winners and lifted the trophy. The winner team has been appreciated with cash reward, prizes, medals and trophies by the chief guest imtiaz Ahmad. Besides, the runner up team Ball Bleed Red was also awarded with prizes, medals and trophies. Speaking on the occasion, SP City West Srinagar advised the youth to refrain from the illegal activities viz drug menace, gambling etc by taking participation in day-to-day cultural activities. Moreover, the senior citizens present there also applauded the civic action programme conducted by the district police Srinagar and desires to have same initiates to be conducted by the Srinagar Police so that youth of the adjoining areas will refrain from ill regarding.
