It was a privilege and honor to receive Dar es Salaam Regional Commissioner, Honorable Albert Chalamila, on his visit to The Aga Khan Hospital, Dar es Salaam, where he paid his condolences for the late His Highness The Aga Khan IV, representing the President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan. The Regional Commissioner was accompanied by Regional Medical Officer (RMO) Dr. Mohammed Mang’una, and Regional Administrative Secretary (RAS) Dr. Toba Nguvila, and was warmly welcomed by the Aga Khan Health Service, Tanzania senior leadership team. We are deeply grateful for their presence and support during this difficult time. The Regional Commissioner also commended His Highness for his leadership and development efforts, highlighting him as a great leader, a champion of progress, and a reliable partner who greatly loved Tanzania and invested heavily in numerous sectors, including the Aga Khan Hospital, schools, and universities.
