MUAST Student Leaders Empowered at the Induction Workshop The Student Representative Council (SRC) of Marondera University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (MUAST) student leaders gathered at the Ago-Industrial Park (AIP) Campus for a two-day leadership induction workshop from 13-14 February 2025. The event focused on empowering the Student Representative Council with essential leadership skills and knowledge to excel in their roles. The workshop featured discussions on critical topics such as leadership qualities, teamwork, grooming and etiquette, effective communication and student-oriented innovations. The Vice Chancellor, Professor Justice Nyamangara, graced the occasion as the guest of honor. In his remarks, Vice Chancellor Professor Nyamangara urged the student leaders to serve as ambassadors for their university and support recruitment efforts for new students. Guest speakers included the Dean of Students at Bindura University of Science Education, Dr Chrispen Mazodze; and the Executive Director of SAYWHAT, Mr J. Wilfod. Both speakers underlined the importance of influential leadership and they encouraged the SRC to become change-makers.
