The six-month period without an assembly in Manipur, which ended on February 12, 2025, does not pose a constitutional crisis or consequence. This is because the Governor declared the 7th session of the 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly summoned (on 10th February, 2025) and recommended by the previous government null and void after the resignation of Chief Minister Shri N. Biren Singh on February 9, 2025. The new Chief Minister of Manipur will indeed be elected through a BJP Legislature Meeting, where the 37 BJP MLAs will choose to elect the new legislative party leader of the house. Manipur desperately needs peace, and to achieve that, we must transcend party affiliations and foster community understanding, by putting aside our differences and coming together, we can work towards restoring normalcy and rebuilding our society. https://www.youtube.com/live/dOkNGLjbJD0?si=fjE6Y48PUv3ia41O
