It involves working together to achieve a common purpose, sharing resources, expertise, and risk, and leveraging each other's strengths to achieve greater impact, growth, and fulfillment. This month, we will consider Two dimensions of Effective Partnership with the aim of achieving more; 1. Partnership with God; I. Quiet Time (Prayer, Meditation, and Bible Study) - Psalm 5:3, Matt 6:33, 2 Tim 3:16-17 II. Witnessing and Evangelism - Matt 28:18-20, Acts 1:8 III. Practice Gratitude and Praise - Psalm 100:4-5, 1Thess 5:18 IV. Seek God's Guidance in Decision-Making - Prov 3:5-6, James 1:5 V. Practice Forgiveness and Humility - Matt 6:14-15, 1Pet 5:6-7 VI. Steward Your Time and Resources Wisely - Matt 25:14-30, 1Cor 4:2 VII. Walk in Obedience and Faith - John 14:15, Heb 11:6 2. Partnership with fellow humans. _We will explore characters to cultivate for Effective Partnership for More._ Before we proceed, it is important to consider the following *Fundamental Elements of Partnership for More*: 1. *Collaboration*: Working together to achieve a common purpose. 2. *Mutual Benefit*: Each partner benefits from the relationship. 3. *Shared Risk and Responsibility*: Partners share the risk and responsibility of achieving the common purpose. 4. *Trust and Communication*: Trust, open communication, and transparency are essential for a successful partnership. 5. *Alignment*: Partners are aligned around a shared vision, mission, and values. By partnering for more, you will achieve greater impact, growth, and fulfillment, while also building stronger relationships and creating a more sustainable future. _"Every limitation is an opportunity to Partner for a better result."_ Let's look at a 5-point framework for Partnering For More. - *Clarify your Goal and Unavailable Needs* Set a clear Goal and Acknowledge Unavailable Needs to achieve your Goal. Recognizing unavailable needs is essential after identifying what you want to achieve through the partnership. This step helps you clarify your goals, expectations, and limitations. - Scripture: Phil 4:19 - Character: Nehemiah (Neh 1:1-11, 2:1-20) - *Choose a Suitable Partner:* Identify and Choose a Potential Partner Selecting the right partner is crucial for a successful partnership. The choice is your sole responsibility. This step involves searching and researching, evaluating, and choosing a partner that is well endowed with your needs and aligns with your goals, values, and vision. - Scripture: Prov 27:9 - Character: Jonathan (1Sam 18:1-4, 19:1-7, 20:1-42, 23:16-18) - *Establish Clear Expectations and Terms:* Agree on Terms with Your Partner. Establishing clear terms and expectations is vital for a successful partnership. This step involves negotiating, defining roles and responsibilities, and outlining the scope of the partnership. - Scripture: Amos 3:3 - Character: Abraham and Abimelek (Gen 21:22-34) - *Demonstrate Commitment and Take Actions.* Show Practical Workings on the Agreed Terms. Implementing the agreed-upon terms and demonstrating a commitment to the partnership is essential.
