*Hairdressing Project Oversight in Kimberly.*
As part of its commitment to accountability, inclusivity, and integrity, the Services SETA’s Accounting Authority (AA) is conducting an oversight visit in Kimberly, Northern Cape. The visit aims to assess the progress of ongoing projects and engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment with the organisation’s objectives.
One of the ongoing projects is a hairdressing apprenticeship funded by the Services SETA and implemented by the Northern Cape Urban TVET College. Mr. Shadrack Motloung, AA member further elaborates “Two years ago we invested in this institution with an apprenticeship of hairdressing, we are here today to see if this investment is bearing fruits, what has been the challenges and how we can improve”.
One of the learners, Zukiswa Kelebogile opened her own hairdressing business during the apprenticeship.
