A training workshop for Heads of Departments (HODs) on Financial Planning and Budgeting at the Departmental Level was organized by and held at IAS on February 27, 2025. The workshop was attended by heads and faculty nominees from 36 departments/institutes.  Mr. Rao Sharif, former Treasurer of the University of the Punjab and currently Financial Advisor to University of Engineering & Technology, Lahore, was the resource person for this much-needed leadership development exercise. Dr. Kashif Rathore served as the host and facilitator of the workshop, in addition to being a trainee participant at the workshop.  This first of the series training was conducted in line with the vision, and under specific direction, of the Worthy Vice-Chancellor of the University of the Punjab, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ali (T.I & S.I).
