Reporting to the Business Development Manager and based at the Head Office, the successful candidate will play a key role in conducting market research, analyzing data, and identifying opportunities within the agro-business sector. *Qualifications and Experience:* - 5 ‘O’ Levels including English Language and Mathematics. - Degree in Economics, Agricultural Economics, Business Administration, Statistics or equivalent. - At least two (2) years of experience in a similar role. *Core Competencies:* - Strong research and analytical skills. - Excellent communication and presentation skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and statistical analysis software. *Summary of Duties:* - Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the Agro-business sector. - Gather and analyze data on market prices, and other relevant factors to inform business decisions. - Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including farmers, suppliers, and industry experts. - Identify new business opportunities and develop and implement business strategies. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement business strategies. - Prepare and present research findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date stock records, including stock levels, movements, and discrepancies. - Perform any other duty assigned by the superior. *To Apply:* Applications accompanied by a detailed Curriculum Vitae and certified copies of qualifications should be emailed to: [email protected] no later than 24 February 2025.
