Dr. Kumar Varoon Agrawal. Associate Professor (EPFL) We have a postdoc position open in our group (https://lnkd.in/gSzRKEE5). We are looking for candidates with an engineering background (preferably chemical engineering and with experience in membrane science) to develop roll-to-roll production protocols for porous graphene (atom-thin selective layer) membranes for carbon capture. This is a very exciting project, part of the EPFL Solutions4Sustainability initiative and our recent Bridge Discovery grant. The project is highly collaborative. The candidate will work with other collaborators in our group (PhD students and postdocs) to produce graphene membranes with a custom-made roll-to-roll instrument. The candidate will optimize spiral-wound modules for packing these membranes and participate in a field campaign for flue gas capture in Switzerland.
