It's my birthday month, and I'm excited to raise funds for Elba Foundation. My father, Edward John Winston Bolajoko Elba, was a man of great passion for learning, impeccable manners, and unwavering ethical standards—qualities I deeply admire and wish to see in more people. After his passing on 30 April, 2020, I decided to honor his memory by establishing The Elba Foundation. It's taken over four years to bring this vision to life, and we've finally begun our work. This program aims to nurture leaders to embody responsible citizenship by teaching them to act professionally, develop a collective mindset, make critical decisions, solve problems, manage relationships, and acquire other essential skills. This year's activities include developing content, training 20 trainers and facilitators, selecting participants nationwide, and delivering some of our content. Our budget for the first year of the program is USD116,000 and our aim is to directly impact 200 people.
