*A True Valentine’s Day: A Celebration of Christ’s Love*
Valentine’s Day is not a day for lust or immorality but a reminder of the greatest love ever shown—the love of Christ. The world may distort this day, but as believers, we must uphold the truth: "God is love" (1 John 4:8), and His love is pure, selfless, and sacrificial.
*1. Christ’s Love:* The Greatest Love Jesus demonstrated the highest form of love by giving His life for us: "Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends" (John 15:13). His love was not based on selfish desires but on sacrifice, grace, and redemption. This is the love we must reflect today and always.
*2. Living for God:* Our Response to His Love We are called to love God in return by living in obedience to Him: "If you love me, keep my commandments" (John 14:15). True love is not found in temporary pleasure but in a life surrendered to God, walking in holiness and truth.
*3. Loving Others with Christ-like Love:* Love is not just about emotions but about action—caring for others, forgiving, and showing kindness. "Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth" (1 John 3:18). Our love should mirror Christ’s love—unconditional, patient, and pure.
This Valentine’s Day, let us reject the deception of lust and immorality and embrace the true essence of love—a love that honors God, blesses others, and reflects Christ.
May our love be holy, selfless, and pleasing to God. Happy Valentine’s Day!
