With over 11,500 readers and NGN110 million in revenue, LockBook plans to expand across Nigeria and partner with more universities 🤝.  Founded in 1997, Sausage Saloon is a South African 🇿🇦 franchise with over 100 locations and plans to expand globally, including Mauritius 🇲🇺, India 🇮🇳, Oman 🇴🇲, and Zimbabwe 🇿🇼. Led by Tshidi Matjeke-Dlungwane, the brand aims to open 12 stores in Mauritius by 2026. Known for its high-quality hotdogs, Sausage Saloon focuses on spreading joy and empowering women in business through franchising opportunities. Network International has partnered with GIM-UEMOA to improve digital payments and financial inclusion in the West African Economic and Monetary Union (WAEMU) 🤝. The collaboration will deliver secure, accessible payment solutions 💳, supporting economic growth and helping member banks offer advanced services to businesses and consumers 📈. Nigeria's 🇳🇬 edtech industry, projected to reach $400 million by 2025, is addressing education gaps despite challenges like poor internet access 🚀. Platforms such as Afrilearn are providing affordable, quality education, especially for underserved communities. While infrastructure issues remain, the sector is helping disadvantaged students access learning resources, with further growth expected through strategic partnerships and government support 🎯.
