FINEST HIS is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the overall maintenance and upkeep of our building, ensuring a safe and functional environment for our employees and visitors. This role requires a hands-on individual with a strong understanding of building systems and a proven track record in maintenance.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and address them proactively.
Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions.
Oversee and coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or installations.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and parts inventory.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and building codes.
Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans.
Manage maintenance budgets and optimize resource utilization.
Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly and efficiently.
Contribute to a positive and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) preferred.
3-5 years of proven experience in building maintenance.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals.
Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical ability to perform the demands of the job, including lifting, bending, and working in various positions.
