Seventy-six years ago, Indian forces unlawfully occupied Kashmir. Today, nearly one million troops are stationed in this region. Over 250,000 Kashmiris have been martyred, 7,000 extrajudicial killings have occurred, and more than 100,000 children have been orphaned. Each year on February 5th, Kashmiris observe a "Black Day" to protest the occupation, marked by remembrance and solidarity in Pakistan.
