Benchmark Penang today held its groundbreaking ceremony for its 5th facility in Penang. With an initial investment of RM110 million and spanning 215,000 square feet, PT4 will bring Benchmark’s total footprint in Penang to over 720,000 square feet. The facility will be equipped with cleanrooms, complex machining, powder painting, and advanced manufacturing technologies, enhancing its ability to support the growing demands of the semiconductor industry. This expansion is expected to be completed by June 2026 and create more than 500 job opportunities over the next five years.
