Penang Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow is on a 6-day investment promotion mission to Japan from 16 to 22 February, organised by InvestPenang, aiming to renew ties and strengthen relationships with the corporate headquarters of Japanese investors in Penang, encourage the expansion of their Penang sites, and attract new investments. The team has been participating in a series of meetings and site visits with Japanese corporations in Tokyo and will be visiting Kyoto and Kumamoto for the rest of the trip. Additionally, InvestPenang will be participating as one of the exhibitors at the Kumamoto Industrial Revitalisation Expo on 20 to 21 February.
